Driven by a ❤️ of the Art of Photography, Catherine has spent two decades contributing to the breadth of production roles under the visual content umbrella. Lugging l'original Le Book around Paris, frayed around its coil binds and full of the creatives that leveraged the industry, she hit the cobblestones as un stage (intern) at the Press office of John Galliano, Fashion's Romanticism Prince. After mornings studying at Le Sorbonne, she hopped on Le Metro, exiting at Champs-Elysees Arc de Triomphe (where the Schramm name is engraved) and assisted iconic European editor Jane Catanni and all the brilliant Brit dames at Hearst's Harper's Bazaar satellite office. Engulfed in Parisian fashion industry euphoria she climbed the ladder as an assistant model agent to the great Robert Farrel at Marilyn Gaultier Agency (Kate, Helena, Linda,Naomi…). Embracing the catalyst for her industry path: the glossy pages of circa 90's Vanity Fair and the photography that lined both front and back of book, she encountered yet another Industry Mentor Goddess at the seat of Lucia Vietri, a Milanese Dynomite of a Photo Rep managing the likes of Michele Comte (ironically the cover & feature photographer for VF who's b&w portfolio edits filled my dreams), Francesca Sorrenti, Jaques Olivar... She dove deep into the education of a future Producer Barbie with this Master Class of creative minds in the heyday of fashion, product, beauty and portrait photography. Crossing the pond she opened the Women’s Division at the iconic Men's factory that was Boss Models, scouted, booked and creatively boosted the careers of top models through the birth of the grunge age at New York Models and was a part of the launch team of edgy boutique agency One Management. Transitioning back to her happy place at the shoulder of visual artists, Catherine took her pocketbook of knowledge to the freelance world, catering to every corner of a growing industry transitioning from film to digital, media and promotional platforms bursting at the seams. Within this fast-moving matrix requiring constant adaptation and learning, she found her creative eye editing contact sheets over light boxes as Assistant Photo Editor for magazines at Hearst, American Express, Meredith, Oprah and more. Freelance Production, Art Buying and Integrated Production for Agencies and Clients-direct fluidly followed her from her beloved NYC to the Southeast to this day. Transitioning within major industry advances and a niche market locale change, Catherine climbed into into more key roles within a vast media and content landscape. Adding full production house capabilities and Integrated/Broadcast Multi-Line Production to the pot she mentored under and beside the best EPs and Production Manager Barbies a girl could ask for. Mixing in her Ad Agency dream gigs at the ❤️ of the creative matter, she rolled in as in-house Integrated Producer for the likes of GSD&M, VML Y&R Rubicam, Via, Rivers Agency and more. In addition to sourcing and taking photographers, DPs and production companies through the internal bidding, pre and post prod processes for all content/media types, she fills her time creating estimates, bids and treatments, then producing winning productions on behalf of Production/Media Companies, Artist Reps and Creatives, country-wide. Catherine’s “I ❤️ PROD” office recently moved to the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains, just a quick drive to production hubs like Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, solidifying her Producer Barbie status, smoothing out productions for the Southeast and anywhere prods bring her.

From Paris to NYC in the late 90's, my creative ❤️ beat heavily watching fashion & portrait photography mesh poetically with commercial advertising & creative editorial content. While scouting fresh faces I thrived in balancing the Art & Commerce of being a high end NY Model Agent that sustained the shoulders of Supermodels. Moving on to rep'ing and managing Photographers was the obvious next step allowing my negotiating skills and creative juices to thrive. The diversity of roles I have played behind the camera makes envisioning & recognizing winning talent, artists & content second nature that stays close to my ❤️.
